Screwdrivers are used to adjust the height, tilt and azimuth of the heads.

Adjustment screwdrivers for adjusting Nakamichi cassette deck heads. Two screwdrivers with red markings for Nakamichi transport from the 1978-1983 decks. Two screwdrivers with yellow markings for Sankyo transport from the 1984-1993 decks.

The shaft of the screwdriver is made of solid aluminum. The working planes of the screwdriver are milled on a machine and have high precision. The shaft is made of steel. The screwdriver handle is made of ebonite.

Using these screwdrivers, you will not damage the working surfaces of the nylon adjusting gears. The center shaft allows the screwdriver to be positioned in poor visibility conditions.

This video shows that the large screwdriver has a spring-loaded shaft.
This is due to the fact that the large gear does not have a deep hole.
The spring-loaded shaft allows the screwdriver to be centered in the gear,
after which the screwdriver must be pressed down and turned
to get into the grooves of the gear.
