The puller is designed for the careful removal of pulleys from motors. Often, people try to save money by removing the pulley with screwdrivers, not considering that motor shafts are 2.0 mm thick and can easily bend. Additionally, when pushing the pulley off, you pull on the shaft, which may shift from the armature. As a result, saving on a puller (a one-time purchase) could cost you the motor. Finding a new original motor these days is nearly impossible.
The puller is disassemblable, providing broad functionality for various removal tasks. The push pins are made of hardened steel and feature a concave end, which centers them precisely along the shaft axis.
Recommendation for use:
Metal pulleys should be heated with a torch to a temperature that is hot enough to sting your fingers. This softens the adhesive holding the pulley in place.
